Whew.

Today I ate homemade ice-cream on a field trip. And homemade butter. There were 6 different stations the kids visited on this field trip but I bet you can guess which station I hung around the most. Plus all the cool people were teaching that station, people that like to rant about trash and plastic and oil in the Gulf. Yep, I fit right in:)

Plus I bought more cloth diapers for Ze Bebe after work. Then took a nap, during which I dreamed about cloth diapers a lot.

Now I shall go to bed because I am oh so worn out.

PS- Bebe is kicking me right now for talking about his future private toilet business and is making the computer jiggle.

Garage Sales!

This morning I went garage saling and got BABY STUFF!!!! Yay!

Cool Finds:

  1. A like new Boppy and a My Breast Friend. For $4:) I plan to do a comparison and make a final call once and for all about which works the best for breastfeeding. And make fun of their names. A LOT.
  2. Tiny socks. Oh so tiny. Will his feet really be that small? Will the socks really stay on his feet? Will they get stuck in other stuff in the wash (as they did today) so that I'm pulling tiny socks out of my pants a week after laundry day?
  3. A SNOWSUIT!!! Because my baby will obviously want to play in the snow in January when he is 4 months old.
  4. Toys:) So we're trying to stick to wood or stuffed toys. Don't want little guy putting plastics and chemicals in his mouth. I'm going to be one of those kinds of moms. Heck, I'm just that kind of person. Organic, local, natural all the way, baby.
  5. Cloth diapers. Not at garage sales, just more came in the mail. So I had to sit and sort through my supply once again. And wash some of them. And fold them and organize them again since there is nothing more important to do in my life.

Good day:) Cold day. Cheap day:)

3 Negative Facets of Life

Things I Don't Appreciate That Much:

  1. Clematis plants that leave their trellises (PS I had to look up how to pluralize 'trellis'). I double check dear clematis' stability and then 2 weeks later they've jumped to nearby trees and grounds to grow. Then there is me, panting and heaving this mound of a plant up to the trellis and fence, jerking scores of ravenous vines back where they belong. Nothing like containing nature.
  2. The waddling that is my sexy walk now. Waddle waddle waddle. Hahaha:) I look funny:)
  3. Sadie eating the gum, lip gloss, and Emergency Hunger Situation Defcon 12,000 Granola Bars in my purse. Why is she doing this? Is it a phase? Will I seriously have to lift my purse and hang it every day instead of throwing it on the floor?

And wow, how nice to have such trivial things on my mind!! Life is good and happy. I have fresh water every day (coming from my sink, in my house!!!!!! Thanks NG!!!)! I have a yard to work on! I have Baby Boy coming in 4 months! I have a delightful hubby to annoy!!!

Things I Really Love About Being Pregnant:

  1. Feeling the baby move. Never thought I'd be this delighted with a 1.2 pound creature stirring inside me. Makes me wonder if I have any other parasites lurking in my body:) Every time baby boy moves, I smile. Every time he kicks, I marvel. Really, I don't even know how to describe this. Cause I'm watching Glee while writing this and am distracted:)
  2. That J freaks out when I drop things in shower. He always comes and asks if I'm okay. I love/hate this because of course if I slipped and died in the shower, I'd scream to let him know. Duh.  Don't panic at every thump! Also, this morning, I woke up and thought "Hey, I don't even feel pregnant today!" and leaped out of bed, forgetting the mound that is my tummy/abs, loosing my balance, and slamming in to the wall to keep from falling (RO sentence). This made him come and check if I was okay. OBVIOUSLY I AM. Did you hear a scream? NO.
  3. People pat my tummy and talk to baby boy:) We like this:) If you see us, pat us:)
  4. I want to drink tons of water. This is pretty neat for a non-thirsty person like me!
  5. That I am NOT nauseas everyday anymore!!!! SUPERDUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
